Recipes from the Healthy Kitchen
Healthy nutrition is a passion for everyone at the Avera Heart Hospital. We understand that each person’s preferences and needs are different. There is no one-size-fits-all nutrition plan. We want you to enjoy food that is not only healthy, but delicious. We take a Prairie meets Mediterranean approach to these recipes, and they are favorites for our families. In addition, the food we serve in our cafeteria at the hospital is heart healthy, nutritious and full of flavor.
