Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer Resource Center

One woman in eight is given a breast cancer diagnosis at some point in her lifetime. And in rural areas, it's not always easy or convenient to find state-of-the-art equipment or expert services. Until now.

Currently, over 65 percent of the breast cancer patients at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center are from rural areas. If you or a family member has recently been diagnosed or is going through the breast cancer journey, it's more important than ever to educate yourself and know your options.

Click on any one of the topics below and learn more about your options and more about living with breast cancer.
