Paid Time Off

30 days from 11+ years of service

Maximum accrual is 320 hours

Accrued time is prorated based on hours worked up to 80 hrs. per pay period.

Accrual levels may vary by position.

PTO Cash-In

Employees scheduled at least 36 hours per pay period

Minimum PTO balance after Cash-In is 40 hours

Offered twice per year; employee may cash in up to 24 hours of PTO per offering, not to exceed 48 hours per year; Cash-In paid at 100% of base rate

Holidays

Hourly and salaried non-management employees

Recognize 7 national holidays per year. Holiday paid at time and one-half for actual hours worked from midnight to midnight on the holiday for the following holidays:  New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas

Extended Sick Leave (ESL)

Employees scheduled at least 36 hours per pay period

40 hours accrued/year

Maximum accrual: 400 hours

Accrued time prorated based on hours worked up to 80 hrs. per pay period

Bereavement Leave

Regular full-time and part-time employees

Up to 3 days leave with pay, to include the day of and the day before or after to attend funeral of immediate family member.  Immediate family members to include: spouse, children, parents, sisters, brothers, step-parents, step-brothers, stepsisters, stepchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchildren or grandparents.

Health Insurance

Offer Avera Choice Health Plan, as well as 4 tiers of coverage to fit your family situation.  Premiums based on longevity of service and whether full or part-time status.

Dental Insurance

Employees scheduled at least 36 hours per pay period

Comprehensive individual and family dental insurance coverage through Delta Dental.

Basic Group Term Life Insurance

Employees scheduled at least 36 hours per pay period

Term life insurance equal to two times annual base salary.  Accidental Death and Dismemberment also equal to time times annual base salary. 

Supplemental Life Insurance

Employees scheduled at least 36 hours per pay period

Optional life coverage offered to the employee.  May add coverage for spouse and eligible dependent children.  First time offered is a guaranteed issue up to certain dollar limit.

Long Term Care Insurance

Optional long-term care insurance for employee, spouse, parents, parents-in-law, grandparents and grandparents-in-law.  Choice of 4 plans offered.

Long Term Disability

First of month following 30 days of employment.  First time offered is a guaranteed issue.

Provides income replacement of 60% of gross earnings after 90 days of disability, up to a maximum of $10,000 per month.  Payments continue until no longer disabled or reach age 67, whichever happens first.

Flexible Spending Accounts Program (Section 125)

Premium Conversion Accounts – Payroll deducted health and dental insurance premiums automatically paid with pre-taxed dollars
