Pediatric Physical Therapy

Pediatric Physical Therapy often incorporates play and will utilize toys to improve strength and coordination. Therapists also help children learn how to move independently or with assistive devices (walkers, wheelchairs, crutches) in order to play and interact in their environment. Therapists assist in a variety of pediatric cases, including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, orthopedic problems and others. Our goal is to maximize the child's development. Other services we provide include:

  • Casting and splinting program
  • Orthotic fabrication (orthotics support weak joints or muscles)
  • School outreach
  • Pool (aquatic/water) therapy
  • Association with SPURS, a therapeutic horse-riding program
  • Sensory integration testing
